Use of Library Vehicles

The purpose of library vans is to serve as delivery vehicles and the transporting of library personnel and for Maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds. A van may be used for daily deliveries of library materials among the Library's main building and the Branches. In addition, the van may be used for delivery services between East Orange Public Library and library patrons enrolled in the Homebound program, and other appropriate purposes as determined by the Director. Personal use of Library vehicles is prohibited.

All drivers and passengers in moving library vehicles must wear seat belts.

Storage of unused vehicles shall be determined by the Director or Assistant Director.

Library vehicles may also be used for other appropriate purposes as determined by the Director or Assistant Director.
