Who are the Friends of the Library and what do they do?
The Friends of the East Orange Public Library is a 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to help strengthen the East Orange Public Library as a whole through advocacy, program planning, community awareness, and fundraising. The organization plays a key role in promoting library programs and services and serving as an advocate for the library.

Membership levels:
- General $25.00
- Seniors and Students $15.00
Membership is from January 1 to December 31 and prorated from the date of membership.
Your contribution helps us provide:
- A collection of more than 200,000 items, including books, movies and more,
- Free internet access,
- Educational programming for kids, teens, and adults,
- Professional librarians qualified to research any question,
- Homework help and reference assistance,
- Resources for job seekers,
